Bank of Belleville Welcomes Three Business Leaders to the Board of Directors

BELLEVILLE, Ill,  August. 30, 2007: – Bank of Belleville announces that three business leaders have been elected to the Bank's Board of Directors. They are:

• Jack Miller, president of W.A. Schickedanz Agency Inc.
• Paul Pongpitoon, president of Medical Diagnostic Laboratory Inc.
• James E. Shay, president of Shay Roofing Inc.

Miller has been employed at the W.A. Schickedanz Agency since 1969. He was appointed president in 1984 and CEO in 1990. A graduate of the University of Missouri, he has a bachelors degree in business administration.

Pongpitoon founded medical Diagnostic Laboratory in 1985. It has grown from three employees to more than 100 specially trained professionals. A longtime member of the Belleville Rotary Club, he was president in 2002-03. He has a bachelors degree in medical technology from the University of Medical Science in Bangkok and a masters degree in public health from the University of Michigan.

Shay has been president of Shay Roofing since 1992. He is a member of the National Roofing Contractors Association, Southern Illinois Builders Association and the Midwest Roofing Contractors Association.

Bank of Belleville, founded in 2005, is a full service commercial bank specializing in providing a complete menu of banking services for small and mid-sized businesses. The bank is located at 720 W. Main St. in downtown Belleville.
