Bank of Belleville Opens New Full Service Community Bank in the Richland Plaza III

BELLEVILLE, Ill,  Nov. 10, 2005: Bank of Belleville is open for business. Kevin Pesko, president of the new community bank, said the bank officially opened on Friday, November 4 after receiving regulatory approvals and an overwhelming response from local investors to the bank's stock offering.

"The community reception to our new bank has been extremely positive," said Pesko. "Our goal was to raise $8 million in start-up capital and because of the response from the community and local investors, we exceeded our goal and are now officially part of the Belleville business community."

According to Pesko, Bank of Belleville is a full-service bank that will deliver personalized, relationship banking services geared to owners of small to medium-sized businesses as well as to commercial real estate professionals. "We see tremendous opportunity in Belleville and because we are community-based, we are able to make our credit, pricing and product decisions here, in Belleville. Our product and service offerings address the needs of the individual as well as those of a business and will be continually evolving."

Working with Pesko to open and manage the bank is a board of directors composed of local business and community leaders. Organizing board members are:
