08/30/2022: Bank of Monroe County expands their executive, commercial lending teams

Bank of Monroe County in Waterloo, Ill., a division of Bank of Belleville, has announced the hiring of its newest management team member, Diane Sinn, as Vice President. Sinn comes to Bank of Monroe Country with 26 years of banking experience including roles as branch manager and business development officer with a strong focus on business banking.

Sinn is proud to live and work in the metro-east where she serves on a daycare board, as a Girl Scout troop leader, and also as the Service Unit Treasurer for the Girl Scouts. She is a Delta Theta Phi chapter member who does philanthropic work locally. When asked why she wanted to join the Bank of Belleville family, Sinn said, “When I started my career in banking, I worked for a community bank and enjoyed everything community banks have to offer. Bank of Belleville is truly focused on the community and their employees.”

Bank of Belleville CEO Ron Stephens said, “We are very pleased to have Diane join our team. Her experience and skills will help us continue to provide excellent service to our clients across our newly expanded footprint.”

Bank of Monroe County has further added a new member to their commercial lending team. Greg Malone will be joining the commercial lending team as a Vice President of Commercial Banking. Malone comes to the bank with more than 30 years of banking experience, including roles in automotive and commercial lending while supporting a variety of local businesses.

Malone lives in Columbia, Ill., with his wife Betty of 36 years. He has been a board member for the Monroe County Economic Development Corporation and worked with Songs for Soldiers as well as a volunteer at St Louis Children’s Hospital.

After accepting the position to join the Bank of Monroe County, Malone said, “I am very excited to join the team at Bank of Monroe County. We have the products and services of the larger banks, with more flexibility and a hometown atmosphere. This bank truly knows and understands its clients and community.”

Bank of Monroe County President Ryan Osterhagesaid, “Greg will be a great fit here at Bank of Monroe County. His experience and client base will be an attribute to our future success. Greg’s customer service, know-how, and roots in the community align with our mission: Smaller Bank, Bigger Service, Stronger Community.”
